The IRS typically takes 5-10 business days (federal holidays not included) to process and approve an 8821. (You will get an email from TaxNow once your account is live.

I need a copy of my 8821/I need to make changes to my 8821.
- If you need a copy or need to make changes to your 8821, or if after an additional week the ERC tracker still shows limited information, please reach out to our Customer Experience team via email at cx@taxnow.com.

Why does the 8821 cover so many years?
- TaxNow's default scope covers ten (10) years back and three (3) years forward. This allows us to provide you (the User) the ability to see things like back taxes being owed, or refunds due. The more time we report, the more information you have!
